Home Strategy Revelations Wanted mode hijinks and hilarity

Everyone most people I love Wanted mode in Revelations. Sure, team modes and Assassinate have their deadly charms, but nothing really beats the cat and mouse thrill of being the hunter and the hunted at the same time.

Even though Wanted is one of the original modes from Assassin’s Creed Brotherhood, I’m still not certain I know what the best overall strategy is, especially since remaining high on the scoreboard leads to more and more pursuers. Is it best to take a slow approach? To lure out one’s killers? Something else entirely?

In part, I believe it is dependent on one’s adversaries. A slow, cautious approach will usually net a large number of points, but this will be in vain if another player is already ahead of you in points. Is it best to purposely disrupt the gameplay of someone who is neither your target nor your pursuer in order to prevent him/her from outscoring you?

Or would it be a good idea to create a build entirely for producing stuns and remaining in first place? For instance, trying to activate Boost Cooldowns intentionally, then using Smoke Bomb/Mute forever on pursuers? Or is this level of meta-planning completely insane overthinking?

I can’t say I’ve applied all of these thoughts to my in-game strategy, but as competition becomes more fierce, increasingly desperate tactics will be necessary to come out ahead. In the mean time, maybe trolling one’s most skilled opponents is a valid way of making it to first place… even if you have to share that spot with other people.

  1. As one of the noobs who got ACR for Christmas, I have to say, I’m very thankful for these vids…not only very interesting/educational, but kind of hilarious. Keep at it!

  2. Wingspan, you are morbidly obese with assassination ruminations and tactical implementations. I just wanted to throw this message your way to say thanks for helpin me not suck so terribly back since I got into Brotherhood. Glad to see you’re still rockin it in Revelations.

  3. I think that pretty much the best strategy for Wanted is to stay in a high traffic area with long sight-lines and is difficult for pursuers to approach me without being obvious.
