Home Contests The February T3 ACR Tournament registration complete

Well, it’s that time of the month again. No, not the time of month when touching a woman is punishable by stoning. The time when doing anything is punishable by brutal, Templar-infllicted death in Assassin’s Creed Revelations!

If last month’s tournament is any indication, competition will be fierce, and this time we’re having 84 players compete for top honors. That means your odds of winning are much lower, but it also means your odds of looking like a badass while winning are a lot higher.

Tournament format and schedule

  • The tournament will consist of twelve (12) qualifying brackets and one (1) finals bracket.
  • Players in the qualifying brackets will play one round of Assassinate.
  • Player scores will be recorded between all matches. All but the one (1) best-scoring player from each bracket will be dropped, leaving twelve (12). The five (5) lowest-scoring players of these players will be dropped, and seven (7) players will advance to the finals bracket.
  • In the event of a qualifying round tie, a tie-breaker round of Simple Deathmatch may be played.
  • Finalists will play one round each of Wanted, Deathmatch, and Steal the Artifact.

Below are the times each qualifying bracket will be held. Registrants must be available for one or more brackets in order to sign up. All times are United States Eastern (GMT -5:00).

  • Bracket A: Tuesday February 21st, 7:00 pm to 7:15 pm
  • Bracket B: Tuesday February 21st, 7:30 pm to 7:45 pm
  • Bracket C: Tuesday February 21st, 8:00 pm to 8:15 pm
  • Bracket D: Tuesday February 21st, 8:30 pm to 8:45 pm
  • Bracket E: Wednesday February 22nd, 7:00 pm to 7:15 pm
  • Bracket F: Wednesday February 22nd, 7:30 pm to 7:45 pm
  • Bracket G: Wednesday February 22nd, 8:00 pm to 8:15 pm
  • Bracket H: Wednesday February 22nd, 8:30 pm to 8:45 pm
  • Bracket I: Thrursday February 23rd, 7:00 pm to 7:15 pm
  • Bracket J: Thrursday February 23rd, 7:30 pm to 7:45 pm
  • Bracket K: Thrursday February 23rd, 8:00 pm to 8:15 pm
  • Bracket L: Thrursday February 23rd, 8:30 pm to 8:45 pm

The final bracket will be scheduled to meet the needs of as many qualifying players as possible, within reason. Players who cannot participate will, unfortunately, be dropped. No substitutions will be made for empty finalist spots, except in the event of a tie.

  1. Ok My GT is : juicysteak117
I can be in any bracket A-L.
Yeah, that’s about it. I’m not the best but i am gonna play ACR right after this. Lucky I just got my crafted abilities. :D I certainly am no RobyRK93 though lol. That’s the new thing isn’t it.

  2. Why the change to a single round of Assassinate? I was looking forward to the Simple Deathmatch, Wanted, Assassinate combo. Unfortunately, Assassinate is my weakest game… guess I’ll have to practice up for next week to see if I can pull it out.

    Bracket A-L
I sadly don’t have very much experience with the Assassinate gametype (I’m more of a simple deathmatch type) however I’m looking forwards to the competition. Count me in!

    • I’m sorry but something just came up and I will not be able to attend. Therefore, I remove my entry. If there is something else I need to do to remove my entry, please tell me so that I may do so.

Will we be able to look forward to seeing all of these recorded and posted on your channel? It’s a lot of videos to go through, but that means it’s a lot of good videos to watch :)

Er, also, it says use your email in the comment form? I’m logged in, but I see no place for email. Just the ‘leave a reply’ block.

I’m not that great at assassinate but I’ll give it a shot.

To the people above, for us aussies it is +15 hours whatever the time that they have said, so it’s about 10am-12pm for us.

  10. WingspanTT I dunno about these Qualifying Brackets. Some brackets will have better players, or even more point starve minded players. Because of this the amount of points scored by the first place player will differ quite noticably. I don’t think it’s particularly fair to have only 7 people move on to the finals when some players will have to work considerably harder for less points then others. One suggestion i have is to make more brackets. If there was a total of 14 then you could have 2 semi-finals bracket games instead of eliminating 5 players just because they scored less then others in a completely differen’t lobby/bracket. Just my 2 cents and of course its your tournament and you can choose to run it how you like.

    • You’re right, I just don’t have a simple solution. I am running this solo and I packed in as many as I could get. I could run 2 semis of 6 each and then cut the bottom 3 from each semi. It just adds a little complication. But we’ll see… I’m not even entirely sure we’ll have 84 players.

      • I understand, hopefully you’ll be able to figure something out. I figured you realized the problem with it as it is now.

      • I’m trying to get more people to sign up, so hopefully you will get 84. Also 2 semi final rounds with 6 people sounds fair to me. I understand it’s rough running this tournament by yourself and especially since you play in every match. :/

  11. As I was in the last ACR (“2.5.5”) Tournament, I’ll sit out this time. Go for those flying the Aussie flag!

  12. Almost filled all 84 Player spots in the tournament. Anyone reading this comment, state your Level. (Just for the heck of it)

  13. (Felt like posting this) Even though i DESPISE Assassinate, I’ve been playing the heck out of that game mode. Practicing my butt off since Monday. And all the prestige’s out there using mute, smoke, and poison are just too annoying to bare. (No offense to other decent players out there that play fair)

  14. Will you host a tournament in March for Xbox? And don’t let the old ones (the last tournaments finalists) play in this one please! It would be nice to see some new faces.

  15. WiNGSPANTT, I saw that you are running this tournament solo, and I wanted to know if there was any way that I could help in future ACR tournaments. I recognize that this is a big thing to do all by yourself.
