WiNG & Destricted take on the WOTC 2HG Tournament [updated]
While T3′s Xbox 360 readers duel one another in increasingly high-stakes combat, we writers also need to fan our competitive flames. That’s why I asked Destricted to be my partner in Wizards of the Coast’s current 2HG tournament. Well that and I don’t have any friends.
Regardless, Destricted agreed to be my part-time pal, and together we’re looking to win this tournament for ourselves, for T3, and for Magic colors that aren’t black. That’s right, we’re teaming up with Izzet’s Mindstorms deck and Selesnya’s hippie deck Collective Might.
Now, neither of us has a lot of 2HG experience. And we don’t know all the cards in all the DLC decks quite yet (even though T3 has a full decklist available). And sure, one of us (I won’t say who) lives in Canada. But that doesn’t mean we can’t win. It just means we have to try 24% harder and harness the power of teamwork. Something like that.
Well, enough chatter – wasting words isn’t going to get us anywhere, especially in these matches. What’s that mean? I guess you’ll have to find out for yourself:
