Simple answer is her karakusa sucks in this game, she was hurt more than Dudley or Ibuki as far as no parry. She gets eaten alive by zoning as a result and even if and when she does get in going for a karakusa is almost always a mistake.
Most mak users would be far better off abusing her normals when they get in and ignoring karakusa altogether.
Answer: It makes it more satisfying to destroy those easy mode jerks.
