Home Editorial So… what games are you thankful for?

It’s been a crazy month or two for top-notch game releases, and while you could spend this day stuffing your face and spending “quality time” with your kin, we know better.

Right after Aunt Alice slips into a turkey-fueled coma, you’re slipping off to the side and firing up that game you just can’t put down. Is it Battlefield 3? Skyrim? Batman: Arkham City? Sonic Generations? Assassin’s Creed: Revelations? Uncharted 3? Or something entirely different?

Whatever your taste, we hope you enjoy every minute of it. And by “it” we mean Thanksgiving.

Drake will be there when you get back.

  1. I’m living outside the US and never celebrated that. I am thankful for all the awesome discounts on everything tho!

  2. Secret of Mana, Chrono Trigger, Terranigma Half-Life, almost every Bioware game, TF2, the GTA series, Braid, Bastion, Trine, Minecraft… I could go on. Or do you mean recent games?

  3. Minecraft.
It’s just the top-NOTCH release, amirite?

I could also say Revelations, but that is NOT OUT YET. Anybody who tells me otherwise is a LIAR.

  4. I’ve played too many games to be truly thankful for just one, but if I absolutely had to pick, it’d be Final Fantasy VII. I would not be the completely hopeless gaming addict I am today without that game and that series.

It’s too bad Square started producing complete shit after FFX.

  5. I’m not joking when I say my wife really listed Mario Galaxy at the dinner table with my family as something she’s thankful for.

She also helps keep an eye out for my pursuers on Wanted on AC:R

I’m thankful for such a wife.
