Hi there,
I am a huge fan of the assassins creed games and even more of their respective multiplayer modes. So when I don’t play myself and I’m a bit bored I like to watch some online gameplay like the videos from WingspanTT and Aslan. Unfortunately there is only so much of footage they upload, cause apperently you are more about quality then about quantity wich is great, believe me, but I’d like some more stuff to watch. =)
So, searching for more pro online gameplay of ACR on youtube, I come across a guy who calls himself Escoblades. After watching his first video he uploaded, cause I always like to start at the beginning, I notice how how he gets some stuff wrong like not recognizing the existence of manhunt and completely give the wrong explanation about the knives skill.
After I let him politely know what I thought about that (Like really politely, without swearing and any mean words which might have made him cry. I even apologized in advance for being a bit negative.), he blocked me from his channel and from commenting on his videos. After that he deleted my comment, which I thought was the most insulting thing of all. After all, I figured he should know he stuff, being a partner of machinima and all.
I feel that seeing as he still kinda sucks after making a lot of videos he should be able to take a bit of criticism.
What do you guys think about this?

That’s YouTube for you dude. Some people like to teach (WiNGSPANTT), some people like to document (me) and other people like to get a massive ego boost about how awesome they are in every game they play (so, so many people).

Oh my god.
This guy has no idea of the game, yet the biggest ego I’ve ever seen, including Duke Nukem.
Sure, I can pull off a 6 stun streak against total noobs that don’t see you running right at them too!
Still he acts like he’s the best player ever. And we all know that title is reserved for our Mentor, Wing.

I don’t have any personal problems with Esco, and in fact am doing a guest commentary for him soon. That said, I don’t really know any other ACB/ACR commentators well at all.I didn’t know you could even ban someone from your YouTube comments and if that’s true, it’s messed up.

You can basically block someone via their YT page so they can’t send you any private messages or comment on your videos any more. It’s good for when someone is getting trolled/abused (prime example: White supremacists bombing one of my earlier videos) but it often happens to just silence any kind of differing opinion. YAY YOUTUBE DRAMA!

He literally plays worse than me the day i got the game…And that was 4 days ago…He is talking like he is the best player ever and bragging how he got the advance version to do his review.He would run up to a guy in plain sight…Stun him and then say how he is an absolute pro.The fact the Codetomato (or whatever his name was)(ya know…The guy that was trying to kill him for half the match) was able to find him over and over again proves how bad his strategies are…He would stun him than run 2 feet and hide right where the dude could see him…Oh but he got away!Amazing bullcrap…

It’s extremely likely that he’s constantly deleting comments and blocking people. It’s not even like it’s a difficult thing to do.
Also, I find it unlikely that he got an advanced review copy when you consider that some companies will ship out games early anyway be it by accident or on purpose. If he got it a few months in advance like many big-name reviewers then yeah, I could believe it. Otherwise, I got UT3 and CoD4 a week before their respective PC releases.

Actually I’m quite sure he had an advanced copy. He mentioned it to me in e-mail about a month before ACR’s release. He has very close ties with major gaming press and works with Machinima etc so it should come of no surprise.
I am personally mad I didn’t get one after Ubisoft reps told me in person I would, then refused to answer my phones calls.

I am surprised you didn’t get one. You have faaar more subscribers and give Assassins Creed a good name. Escoblades sound more like that Mr. Christoforo. Lotsa talk and no game.
