I found that some abilities are not effective on maps. For example, mute and charge. I found both abilities to be effective on the “Rome” map, but on maps with multiple levels, i.e. “Mont Saint Michel”, the various different buildings can help players avoid the effects of these abilities. I love using throwing knives and smokes bombs because on any map it addresses both players on the ground and on the roofs. What about you? Do pick a build that useful on all maps or do you have various builds to help you adapt to various maps? |

I find Mute is quite good on multilevel maps since it effects multiple heights simultaneously. It can prevent drop kills, etc. That said, I do prefer Throwing Knives on any maps where players climb a lot. |

@Toraka Knives is also fun when your target is standing at the edge of the roof. That way when you knife them you can do roof edge kill! @WingspanTT Really? I always thought that the AOE of mute was the same as smokebomb in that if your opponent can evade the effects of this ability if they are on the high ground. Any crafting suggestions for this ability? So far I have crafted cool down and range. BTW I ran into “the fazz” last night … he says “Hi” ;) |

Personally, I just make ability sets for particular game modes. There just aren’t enough ability sets for you to be able to customize for certain maps and I cbf changing stuff at the end of every game. x) |

@ShinryuRQs yeah…back in AC:B I would have a builds for wanted, assassinate, and even two for manhunt (one for offense and the other for defense). Lately I’ve been playing more FFA matches tailoring each build for specific purposes. |

@dominator4732 Yeah, I have a 2 ability sets, for specific purposes, and not for a particular game mode. eg I have one for defence (for anytime I’m not hunting and/or only being hunted) and one for runners/roofer The others are for specific game-mode/s. ie My deathmatch one also works for assassinate and wanted. |

For me it influences which set I use for example. on Galata I nevver go for Poison I just pull out my roofing set since people always roof on that map. |
