Remember when PS2 and Xbox came out? Good times. I remember the day when I walked into Gamesto- err I mean… sears…yeah that’s it..and bought A PS2. They had some nice games, my all-time favorite though was Star Wars Battlefront 2. It was a good game, I wasn’t exactly a huge star wars fan, but I could appreciate a good game. I’m pretty sure everyone would enjoy being a Jedi and hacking peoples heads off. Plus, lightsabers are shiny. I enjoy shiny things very much. |

Timesplitters 2. I LOVED that game. Back in the days when multiplayer meant everyone gathered round the TV screen. Seriously. Those were the days. |

Ah, PS2. So many memories, the best coming from the Ratchet and Clank series before it went to the crapper, and Sly Cooper. God Sly-Sly 3 was great. Even though it was a little bit repetitive from the games, it also varied greatly in the missions, the ingenious heists, and the buildup of each mission. Those were the days. |

Unf, Front Mission 4. Come on, on a tactical site we have no turn based strategy fans? Ah, well, worth a shot. Final Fantasy XII, Metal Gear Solid 3, Battlefront 2 and the Onimusha series are RIGHT up there though. And of course the Ace Combat series.

While Eternal Darkness has its awesome environmental appeal, I just feel like the actual controls and gameplay were middling. |

I found the controls to work fine but I’ll agree that the spell casting mechanic could get a little arduous (and you only ever needed to make around three). I also remember being stuck on a boss for days and I think I glitched my way out of a fight later on which made me feel… dirty. The story, however, was awesome but I’m the kind of guy who will happily sit down and read Lovecraft for four hours. Controls were ok, gameplay could be ‘meh’ but the story made up for it. |

Fuck yeah, Soul Calibur 2 is the best. I didn’t love Melee but I can’t argue it was a great game. |

Gotcha Force was such a beast game….I’ve been trying to find a used copy of it somewhere locally, but not really having much luck. No love here for Amplitude? I spent way too much time on that game….they really need to release that on PSN. I also dropped a LOT of time into SOCOM 2 online. |
