So far I’m addicted to Drell Adept because Cluster Grenades are absolutely hilarious. I tried to play Vanguard but it’s a LOT harder than in SP since you can’t pause time. What have y’all been playing?

First, the Novaguard can literally slaughter through the enemy, but its important for you to host the game, because if you dont then there is a power activation bug (at least on pc) because of lag. Around 80% of the time I see the cooldown circle complete, and start spamming the power button, but it only reacts for 4-5th time. It is essential for your vanguard to keep spamming charge, nova, cause you are invincible while doing so (and you deal a GREAT lot of damage) Furthermore if one of your teammates is a biotic (Drell Adept is one of the best) he/she can “tag” the enemy for you with a biotic power, you charge, biotic combo, then he/she tags again, you nova, biotic combo… I think I dont need to explain the epicness of this :).

Other than that, Salarian Inf is kickass, maybe not that great for console, (everybody can aim better with a mouse its a fact), but I saved my team a lot of times, by being the only one alive and managing to beat the wave alone on gold.

For console users, I would suggest Human Sentinel. Because biotic combos deal health % dmg, not a constant one, they can kill bosses on gold nearly the same rate at in silver/bronze, plus the warp+throw combo is really good for armor, usually takes 3 combos (around 12-15 seconds) to take a banshee down. I usually play with this when my connection is bad (my internet is not to stable) and I dont want to rage when I miss my headshots because of lag, but for console users this class is ideal, because you really dont need to aim.

I like the support role of the Engineer (overload/incinerate) or the Adept (warp/throw). Still trying to figure out the best tactics for the new Justicar. I have the bubble set up for maximum protection for those inside.

Love the Engineer because I can spam the powers quite quickly and take down shields and allow the infiltrators to snipe them. I also like the Quarian Eng with cryo and the scoped Carnifex pistol for headshot kills (my own lazy way of sniping I’m sure but I have issues if they’re trying to kill me first…). Cyro works well to slow down some of the enemies and buys you/teammates some time if you have to heal someone too.

My experiments with the Krogan are okay. I seem to get myself killed too often to make it worth my time (I don’t like when I have to have people revive me for no good reason especially if it involves my own stupidity).

I like the Batarian with the submission net, though the jury is still out on the blade armor.

When I’ve played as the infiltrator, I do like the Salarian with the tactical cloak. It comes in very handy in reviving fallen comrades and doing those pesky challenges. My sniping is getting better but I’ll really only play with this character among friends, on bronze, because I’m not that good… ;)

I use the soldier sometimes but again, I have issues with close quarters combat and I usually get myself killed in the process. Its probably I don’t use my powers/weapons effectively enough or in the wrong order to make myself an effective soldier.

So that is why I prefer to be in cover, provide support (and hide like a little bitch).

Turian Ghost infiltrator. An absolute devastator with the Cerberus Harrier stacking battle stim damage boosts with the tactical cloak assualt damage boost is beautiful. Add on the Turian’s affinity for weapons (especially assault rifles, hmmmm) make him a devastating character.

My only choice for platinum difficulty.
